Lyn and Chris love sharing food with others – right now they have just finished hosting 8 groups in Sicily, Puglia and Tuscany and are now settling into life in their trulli in Puglia, before returning to NZ
“Our vegetable garden is producing well, the figs are just starting to ripen and we collected succulent blackberries on our early morning walk this morning. Tomorrow is set aside for bottling tomato salsa for our groups next season so in preparation we will treat ourselves to a few hours at the beach this afternoon.
For the first time we have the pleasure of using our own olive oil that was harvested in November, even if our olives were mixed with some of our friend Pietro’s olives to make enough for a pressing. At this stage the olive crop is looking very promising for this years harvest.
In 2017 they are returning to the wild and beautiful north eastern corner of Sardinia to host groups in Villa Piccola Ventosa near Porto Cervo. In late May and Early July they will once again welcome guests to their beloved Puglia.
