Te Wahi Ora is a women’s retreat space in Piha, on the west coast near Auckland. They have been part of the Women Travel network since it was first established here in New Zealand. They have been celebrating 21 years since it first open, here is some news from their latest newsletter:

Christmas Day – there is a spare plate on December 25th for you to have the most relaxing Christmas ever! From 24th December onwards, you would be most welcome to join those of us choosing a day of relaxation for Christmas Day. Surely that is the right of every woman at least once in her life, to have a stress free Christmas Day!
We will have drinks and nibbles looking out at the view of Piha shown above before we return to Te Wahi Ora for the rest of our Christmas celebrations.
Summer Holidays
Piha is a great place for a summer holiday. Join the crowds on the South Beach of television’s Piha Rescue fame or disappear into the solitude of the secluded North Beach.
If it is too hot on the beach, the bush, covering the Waitakere Ranges, provides beautiful, shady picnic spots and walks beside sun-dappled streamss
